• Phalaenopsis ‘Mixes’: Discover a wide range of diverse colour mixtures.
• Phalaenopsis ‘The Big 5 Collection’: A special selection of the highest quality, packaged by variety and destined for the high-end market.
• Phalaenopsis ‘White World’: An exceptionally white Phalaenopsis with striking, large flowers of maximum quality. Stylish, elegant, and pure. This variety blooms longer than all other white varieties. While the standard bloom guarantee of this proud grower is three months, this White World sometimes continues to bloom for twice as long!
• By5 Nolan Ceramics: A perfect fit for every plant. High-quality ceramics in various colours are a beautiful addition to the Phalaenopsis range.

What makes a By5 special?
The Star Quality By5 Phalaenopsis range from Piet Vijverberg consists of several quality sorts but distinguishes itself by the offer of so-called multi-branches: 3 to 5 branches per plant and a high number of flowers per branch.

• Flowering duration: min. 3 months.
• Large-flowered: diameter is min. 9 cm.
• Number of branches: 1 to 5 per plant.
• Available in mix.
• Also available ‘by variety’ under the brand name ‘The Big 5’.
• Available in 12 cm pot with 1 to 5 branches.
• Communicate this to the consumer!

The top-quality Dracaena fragrans under the Star Quality By5 brand consists of: Steudneri Green, Yellow Coast, Mass Coast, Golden King, and Golden Queen. Available year-round in multiple pot sizes; 11cm pot with 1 stem and 17 cm pot with 2 stems, varying in length from 35cm to 100cm.

Piet Vijverberg Nursery in a nutshell
In 1946, the family business Piet Vijverberg was founded and has been passed down from father to son. After cultivating several crops, the choice was made to produce the colourful Phalaenopsis (7 hectares) and the green and variegated Dracaena (1 hectare). Through the use of innovative and progressive cultivation techniques, every detail in the cultivation process receives attention. Our enthusiastic and passionate team also plays an important role in maintaining our high standards. Together, this results in a high-quality product that is loved both at home and abroad.

Sustainability
Throughout the entire process, Piet Vijverberg nursery strives to keep the impact on the environment as low as possible and continuously innovates and invests in this:

• MPS-certified (A, GAP, GRASP, Product Proof) in the field of sustainability and good employer.
• Only rainwater is used which is collected on the premises. This water is 100% recycled and wastewater is purified. No tap water is used, which results in a more sustainable approach.
• With Heat Cold Storage (WCS) systems, hundreds of thousands of m3 of natural gas are saved annually (equivalent to the consumption of 150 households). In addition, connection to geothermal energy will be made in the near future.
• Pots and packaging are made as much as possible from recycled plastic and are made of 100% PCR material. Alternatives for less plastic packaging such as "pulp tray" with paper wrapping are also offered.
• (Partial) cultivation with LED lighting.
• Where possible, biological crop protection agents are used.
